TAE Buffer Concentrate 50X
TAE (Tris-Acetate-EDTA) is an extensively used buffer for agarose gel electrophoresis applications requiring high resolution and separation of high molecular weight, double-stranded DNA. TAE Buffer is more compatible with in-gel manipulations and band recovery procedures than TBE Buffer. Bio-Tek TAE Buffer is made from Biotechnology Grade chemicals. To make a 1X working solution, add 20 ml of concentrated buffer to 980 ml of distilled or deionised water. Composition of 1X working solution is 0.04 M Tris-Acetate, 0.001 M EDTA; Final pH 8.0.
