Long Wave UV Mini-Light

A hand-held UV light useful in observing fluorescence in a range of experiments.

This light can be used for observing:

• fluorescence due to Green (gfp) and Blue (bfp) fluorescent proteins

• the fluorescence of Pseudomonas fluorescens

• fluorescence of Artemia and Daphnia after their ingestion of a fluorescent substrate

• fluorescent powders used for handwashing demonstrations

• changes in fluorogenic media
